INFO & SERVICES

WHY CHOOSE THERAPY?

Deciding to start therapy can raise many questions like, “Do I really need this?” or “Are my problems worth discussing?” It’s normal to feel unsure, embarrassed, or even a bit scared. These feelings are valid, but they often signal that therapy could be beneficial. If you’re considering therapy for the first time, I hope to make you feel supported throughout this process.

WHAT TO EXPECT

 1. Initial Call: We’ll begin with a short phone call to understand the support you're seeking. I'll gather some basic information and answer any questions. If it feels right, we’ll schedule an in-person or online session.

2.   First Sessions: In our early sessions, I’ll get to know you, and together we’ll identify your therapy goals. Whether you want to build healthier relationships, manage emotions and stress, or break free from feeling "stuck," we'll explore this together.

3.   Length of Therapy: The number and length of sessions will depend on your goals. Some may find a few sessions helpful, while others might benefit from regular, ongoing support. We'll discuss what works best for you.

Types of services

  • My work is grounded in the belief that setbacks, roadblocks, and defeats can be powerful catalysts for growth, guiding us toward more fulfilling lives. Together, we will embark on a journey to embrace your whole self.

In therapy, we explore the interplay between your mind and body, especially during experiences of grief, anxiety, or disappointment. These feelings often arise from personal histories and can signal energy disruptions that lead to confusion or blockages in relationships. I aim to address unresolved wounds and patterns that hinder your well-being, enhancing your capacity for love, trust, and connection.

I specialize in helping individuals facing anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, and relationship challenges. In navigating major life transitions together—like marriage, parenting, career changes, or grief—we will identify patterns that prevent you from living authentically and joyfully.

A key aspect of my practice is understanding that emotional agency and connection are vital for healthy relationships. Feelings of disconnection often stem from past experiences, especially in childhood. I’ll help you recognize defensive states, such as projection, withdrawal or avoidance, as well as feelings of abandonment and inundation, and guide you back to a grounded perspective, fostering a sense of connection.

My goal is to help you develop a deeper awareness of your emotional needs, enabling you to take responsibility for how your feelings reflect and respond to those emotions. This journey often leads to transformative insights, allowing you to maintain your authenticity amid life’s struggles.

Ultimately, my approach creates a safe space for you to explore your vulnerabilities and desires without judgment. Together, we’ll navigate intimacy, connection, and self-discovery, fostering resilience and a stronger sense of self. I invite you to take the first step toward embracing your authentic self and connecting with others honestly. True transformation occurs when we embrace our authentic selves and connect with others sincerely.

  • In my work with couples, I address the emotional distance created by old patterns and unresolved wounds, which often influence how we express and receive love. Misinterpretations can lead to conflicts, creating feelings of betrayal when vulnerability is met with misunderstanding. Opening up can feel awkward, and receiving the love we’ve longed for may trigger mixed emotions, including anger over past neglect. Navigating this sensitivity requires active listening, validation, and an emphasis on emotional safety.

A significant part of our journey involves recognizing how personal histories shape relational dynamics. Through self-awareness and presence, partners learn to check in with themselves before engaging in deep conversations. Grounding techniques foster healthier communication, helping to navigate inevitable moments of rupture. Repairing these disconnections is critical for bridging emotional distance, rebuilding trust, and fostering deeper understanding.

To facilitate this process, I use techniques like breathwork to help partners attune to their emotions, and boundary visualization to clarify needs and dynamics. Exercises focused on personal histories help reveal patterns of abandonment or overwhelm, uncover relational triggers, and illuminate behaviors that unintentionally undermine connection. Observational feedback further supports couples in understanding how their actions impact one another, encouraging growth and mutual compassion.

Ultimately, creating a new relationship requires stepping outside comfort zones to openly address fears and vulnerabilities. By healing old wounds and cultivating emotional safety, couples can establish a foundation of trust and intimacy, fostering a healthier and more fulfilling partnership.

  • In my work with families, I focus on understanding the patterns and dynamics that shape relationships. Families often find themselves stuck in cycles of misunderstanding or conflict rooted in old belief systems, wounds or unspoken expectations. By exploring these influences, we can begin to unravel the complexities that hinder healthy communication and connection.

Family therapy provides a space where each member feels seen, heard, and valued. Together, we identify how individual experiences and emotions contribute to the family dynamic, emphasizing understanding over blame. This approach encourages empathy, allowing each member to recognize their role in shaping interactions and to respond with compassion.

We work on developing skills for effective communication and establishing healthy boundaries, using techniques such as breathwork and grounding exercises to foster presence during challenging conversations. As we address tensions and redefine roles, we create space for individual growth while strengthening the family unit.

My goal is to guide families toward greater presence, understanding, and connection, helping them transform their relationships, heal past wounds, and create a more supportive environment where everyone feels valued.

  • I specialize in empowering high performers in sports, business, and the arts to unlock their greatest potential and maximize earning opportunities. My coaching transcends traditional methods by focusing on the baggage individuals carry and its impact on decision-making and performance. By strengthening the connection between mind and body, I help clients make deliberate choices rooted in clarity and purpose.

I believe obstacles can serve as powerful catalysts for growth. Together, we’ll identify opportunities for improvement, set high, achievable goals, and foster a culture of trust and continuous learning. Regular feedback ensures clients stay motivated and on track to achieve their ambitions.

With my therapeutic background, I understand that emotional agency is vital for success. I guide clients in addressing unresolved challenges, enhancing resilience and self-awareness, which enables them to thrive both professionally and personally.

  • In my work with Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy, I view ketamine as a catalyst for profound change, much like how the default mode network functions in our brain. The default mode network is like our mental "police," constantly monitoring and organizing how we process the world, filter information, and engage with our experiences. When ketamine quiets this network, it’s as if the police are parking their cars, taking a break, and letting you engage in entirely new internal conversations. This creates a spaciousness that allows fresh neural pathways to form—what we call neuroplasticity.

Ketamine doesn’t create experiences but opens the door for self-discovery. It disrupts entrenched patterns, allowing parts of yourself that have been hidden or suppressed to emerge. Think of it like turning down the volume on the usual chatter, opening up the possibility for deeper awareness and new ways of seeing and experiencing your life. In our therapeutic relationship, I help you unpack these experiences, process them, and make meaning out of what arises, so we can identify what wants to be anchored and practiced moving forward.

Just like all psychedelic medicine, ketamine works as a catalyst for your internal landscape, supporting you in uncovering, recovering, and discovering more of who you are. Our work together is focused on integrating these insights into your broader journey, allowing you to realign with your true self. This process can bring deeper emotional freedom, presence, and aliveness as you engage with life’s challenges.

Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy can be especially transformative for those navigating depression, anxiety, trauma, or major life transitions. It disrupts old patterns, providing an opportunity to explore deeper layers of your emotional world—those often out of reach in everyday life. These breakthroughs can lead to profound shifts in how you relate to yourself, your emotions, and your relationships.

Through this work, ketamine helps expand your internal landscape, inviting you to rediscover your authentic self. Like good therapy, it supports you in widening your aperture—seeing life from a new perspective and engaging with more love, joy, and resilience. This expansion involves confronting difficult content, but it also invites greater connection and fulfillment, leading you to a deeper sense of purpose and balance.

You do not have to be good. You do not have to walk on your knees for a hundred miles through the desert repenting. You only have to let the soft animal of your body love what it loves.
